Bruce Marchiano’s Journal

I would almost dare to say that she was the most impressive Christian I’ve ever met.  The irony there is that I’ve walked in some pretty “impressive” circles, in terms of well known leaders, writers, CCM artists…  folks who most folks look up to and think to be on the cutting edge of this that we call Christianity.  But for my money, this woman – this African woman whose name I never got, who undoubtedly lives in a corrugated iron shack with a dirt floor, no running water or electricity; who has undoubtedly earned less money in her entire lifetime than most Americans earn in a year, and at best spent her working life cleaning white people’s homes or selling fruit on a street corner – takes the prize.
